About Us
'We' are Mel and Jo and we have been running White Rabbit Parties in Guernsey since July 2006. In that time we have created a whole range of parties and events from small quiet parties at people homes to large celebrations requiring a total venue decor service and innovative entertainment. We have also been invovled in various corporate projects including family fun days, Christmas parties and client events, and have taken care of countless children in our mobile creche's at Weddings and other parties.
Both of us work full time with children, currently in the role of teaching assistants but previously as nannies and childminders. This means that we can draw on this experience to plan exactly what we know children will enjoy, at the right level for their age, attention span and ability.
We enjoy the challenge of coming up with new ideas and are constantly looking at what is going on in the party industry world wide and what products are coming onto the market which we can make available locally.
One thing that we are passionate about is being kind to the environment in which we all live by trying to reduce the amount of rubbish produced by a party by reusing as much as we can, sourcing products locally where possible and aiming to provide quality and long lasting products which won't hit the landfill site within hours! We are proud to have introduced options such as recycled plastic tableware, a paperless version of pass the parcel and biodegradable balloons which all help to set a good example to our children and shows them that being eco-friendly can still be fun!
